Front Cover Image Edit

This is my front cover image that I chose, before and after editing. I used the spot healing tool to erase blemishes on the skin, and used the levels and contrast tools to make the image appear more light and colourful. I went over the white of my model's eye with a translucent white brush to make it look more striking, as eye contact with the camera means the image is more powerful.

I then inserted the edited image into my layout plan, and am very pleased with what the result is starting to look like.

Double Page Spread Production

This is my final image that I have chosen for my double page spread. I will use it as a template and will place the text around it. I have also added a title and some dividing lines.

Here I have added the bulk of the text of the interview on the lower right hand side of the page. I have also added a QR code that can be scanned to provide a link to the magazine's website.

This is the complete double page spread. I included a picture I created of the artist's CD cover and a small description next to it.
